Who We Are

Our Beliefs

What we believe:

About God:

There is only one God who eternally exits in three distinct persons, God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit, and these three are one God. God is eternal, infinite, changeless, and all knowing. God is the creator and sustainer of all life and all things. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22)

About Jesus Christ:

Jesus is the only begotten son of God, who never sinned. He willingly died and rose from the dead, for the justification of all of the sins of the world. Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. Jesus is now with the Father in heaven praying for us but will someday return to the earth in power and glory. (John 1:1; Philippians2:5-6; Luke 1:26-38; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22; I Corinthians 15:3; Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:9-11)

About the Holy Spirit:

At the moment a person receives Christ as their savior the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in their heart. The Holy Spirit provides us with power to live a life pleasing to God, guidance to discern the truth , and strength to resist what is not from God. The Holy Spirit both comforts us and convicts us of sin. He is our teacher helping us to understand the word and will of God. We are filled with the Holy Spirit when we give our lives over to God and ask for the Holy Spirit to lead us. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; I Corinthians 12:1-13; Ephesians 5:18; John 14:15-17; 25-26;15:26-27; 16:5-11)

About the bible:

The bible is the inspired word of God, It is without errors infallible and authoritive. It should be considered the perfect guide for what we believe and how we live. (II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:21)

About Man:

Man was created in Gods image for the purpose of fellowship with him. He fell into sin and thereby brought about not only his own physical death but also a spiritual death which is a separation from God. We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature in thought, word, and deed. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Galatians 3:22; Ephesians 2:8-9)

About salvation:

The blood of Jesus Christ is the only way for our sins to be forgiven. There is nothing we can do ourselves to earn forgivness. We must believe that Jesus is the son of the living God, that he was sacrificed on the cross, and that he is risen from the grave so that he might intercede for us when we ask forgivness of our sin. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Galatians 4:6)

About our Christian Life:

Christian growth is a process of trusting obedience to Christ, daily prayer, and study of the word of God daily. Through this process christians will grow to maturity and become more like Christ. (Philippians 1:20-26; John 14:23-24; Romans 12:1-3)
